Brocket Hall – The perfect location
Escape to one of England’s most romantic stately homes for your perfect wedding, reception or party. Sumptuous Brocket Hall, with its 30 luxury guestrooms and exquisite Ballroom is licensed for civil ceremonies. Getting married in the comfort and surroundings of a traditional English Country House could not be easier.
Located only 45 minutes from Central London and close to all major motorways and international airports, Brocket Hall stands within 543 acres of magnificent parkland on the banks of the Broadwater Lake with beautiful views across the private Estate and Championship golf courses.
This is one of England’s finest residential stately homes, offered on an exclusive use basis only with traditional Butler service. No other can claim to have been the home to two prime ministers, played host to George IV and witnessed the infamous Lady Caroline Lamb introduce the Waltz to England in their Ballroom. Each room offers its own charm and character with superb furnishings and oil paintings, providing excellent facilities and a unique backdrop for your photograph album.
We pride ourselves on standards of excellence – no less than you would expect from somewhere that has entertained kings and queens, presidents and prime ministers for over 300 years. Guest numbers from 25 – 150 exclusively.
In addition to Brocket Hall, there are two other venues for you to consider for your wedding or special occasion:
Brocket Hall Golf Club – Privacy within its Own Setting
The Oak Room at Brocket Hall Golf Club is a stunning wedding venue in itself. With panoramic views across the Broadwater Lake, the room can cater for up to 120 guests for a wedding ceremony or reception, and 150 people for a cocktail buffet with dancing. The room has a vaulted oak beam ceiling and direct access to a private terrace for your drinks reception. We accommodate only one wedding on each day, as do each of our venues, giving you the personal service and exclusivity required to ensure your day is everything that you could wish for and more.
Auberge du Lac Restaurant – Offers Intimate Tranquillity
