You have finally made it to the big day. The venue is booked, the dress is bought, the guests have been invited. The last thing you want is to forget anything as it could potentially ruin all the hard work that has been put in thus far.
Here are 4 things to remember on your wedding day!
1. BREAKFAST – In the midst of all the madness you may forget to have breakfast! With breakfast being the most important meal of the day, it is highly recommended to have something to eat before the day begins. The last thing you want is to have a rumbling belly at the altar or to go faint just before you say ‘I do’. Wedding days are often very hectic and don’t leave much time for eating during the day, therefore, making sure to have breakfast is very important as you do not know when you will get to eat next.
2. ALCOHOL – It is easy to get carried away with the ‘nerve-calming drinks’ the morning of your wedding, but remember you have a ceremony and wedding breakfast to get through. Your wedding day will be a joyous occasion, not a night out with your friends – Too many drinks can ruin the day, therefore remember your limits!
3. THE PLAN – You and your partner have been planning this day for months, even years! Make time to run through and remember the plan for the day. By being in the know about what is happening next will allow for a smooth running with little room for error. The less stress, the better the day. As well as the more enjoyable memories for you both.
4. RINGS – Perhaps the most obvious of things you cannot forget on your wedding day. However, sometimes the most obvious are the things we are most likely to forget. Also, leaving your rings to your groomsmen may be better for yourself to handle as then you know exactly where they are at all times. Not ideal to be arriving at the venue to find the rings are nowhere to be found… not a great start to married life!
