Arrive in plenty of time for you to set up. It can take a little while for you to bring in your equipment into the venue, especially heavier items such as sweet carts and photo booths. If you can bring a colleague, friend or family member to help this will ease the pressure and they can also give their opinion on how you have set up your stand.
Remember your marketing material, such as business cards, flyers and pop up banners. These are very important, as Brides will want to take something away with them and you do not want them to forget you. Pop up banners are a cost effective way of promoting your brand and to make use of your exhibition space.
Prize draws and raffles are a great way to obtain brides details, so you can follow up with them at a later date. Just make sure you have a tick box on the forms, asking the brides to opt in, due to the new data protection laws which are being implemented from the 18th May 2018.
Make the most of the exhibition space given to you, but we would recommend not cluttering your stand with too many products, as this may make it harder for the Brides to see what you are promoting.
Interact with the Brides as much as possible, some exhibitors use their tables as a safety barrier, but step to the side and make eye contact with the Bridal party. These are your potential clients.
And finally relax, smile and have fun!
